Lime Kiln from the 1800s

A 20 foot tall flower spike off what looked like an Agave plant.

Whales viewed from the cliffs at about a mile away.

Most likely humpback whales.

The access tunnel under highway 1 to a hiking trail.

Julia Pfieffer Burns State Park.

The trails had beautiful worn roots.

Our campfire.

Cairns are very popular along the coast. There were over 50 of them all over this beach.

The trail to the Lime Kilns.

A waterfall near the kilns. This is looking up at it over 30 feet away.
