Curator Vicki Lloid brings a potent, introverted mix of contemporary music and dance works to Whitman College in a compact, one-night-only performance at Chism Hall on Saturday April 29 at 8 p.m. Sitar player J.J. Gregg and dancer Peter de Grasse premiere Malkauns Meditation, their new duet project. Whitman music faculty members Edward Dixon and Sally Singer play Logan Schmidt’s Seattle: City of Grunge. Dancer and yogini Allison Michelle Keppel performs with Vicki Lloid in her new choreography Mother Daughter, and Walla Walla’s own powerhouse performer Jacki Carlson closes the program with Vicki Lloid’s dramatic new solo entitled Resist.

This rare assembly of performers will present their work one night only at
Whitman College’s Chism Hall on Saturday April 29th at 8 p.m. Admission is free.
